SESSION D: DIGITAL DIVIDE AND HEP-GRID WORKSHOP

LISHEP2004 will present the SESSION D - ASSOCIATED TECNOLOGIES TO HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS. 
 
This session focus on the discussion of the up to date status of the DIGITAL DIVIDE AND 
GRID PROJECT DEVELOPMENTS.
The general format of the Workshop will be:
        
  Morning  and Afternoon:   50' talk followed by 10' for discussion, 
                            several 15-20 minute presentations. All 
                            talks and presentations will be by invitation 
			    only.
  
SUGGESTED SUBJECTS

 
We intend to develop the subjects in all sessions of the workshop taking
into account the development of the present projects. 
The tentative subjects are:
 
·         Digital Divide: Situation of the Links among all countries whose 
 physicists are involved on LHC Experiments
·         Digital Divide: Computer and Internet access to the population of
 each country
·         GRID Projects: GriPhyN, iVDGL, PPDG,EDG, CROSSGRID, LCG, GAE, ...
·         New Network Technologies
  
TUTORIALS

A number of Tutorials are being planned for the week before the workshop - February 9 to 13. 
These tutorials are mainly intended to the students that would like to work in the future on 
Network and Computing for High Energy Physics.
